The Island once hosted a tribe of savage owls, giving sacrifices to their gods, and engaged in the black magic. But that was long ago, and all that is left are the ruins of the temples, and abandoned nests in the trees. Not a whole lot is known about the culture that once lived there, but explorers have been known to go on expeditions and never return. The island is a full three weeks from Mór Ríoghain, five weeks from Eoghan, and eight weeks travel from Aoife and Ériu.
