[/i] be tolerated here. It is not curtail to your existence on earth, and it is not curtail to your existence on my site! If I, or any other administrator, receives more than one PM or harassed in the cbox, for your character(s) to be accepted, or your friend’s character(s) to be accepted, or a friend of a friend’s character(s) to be accepted, or to have a rule bent, or something else to be twisted, you will wait. And your plot can wait, and your plans can wait till you learn to be patient. If you’ve never heard of a thing called Real Life, you need to find out about it, because all my fellow administrators have it.
- OOC & BIC:
ooc stands for, out of character. This means that you are you, and you are not roleplaying. Bic stands for, back in character. This means that you are roleplaying!
Please, don’t get the two mixed up, and don’t post your roleplay posts in the Chat box! That is what the boards are for.
- Respect:
Respect is an important piece of what makes a site, a site. When the members get along, that means putting their differences aside, they get along well. This also goes for administrators and moderators:
- Members & Guests: Please understand that the Administration is a group of people who have feelings, and carry a large weight on their shoulders. It doesn’t help them when you send them telegrams saying things that are not encouraging, but rude and demeaning. I expect the members of this site to respect their staff, and to be helpful to them when they call for it.
- Administrators/Moderators: We are here to help our members and guests. Not to throw a temper-tantrum because a member is being disrespectful of our position. If this does happen to you, I (the Chief Admin, Hades) expect that you will handle it with all discipline possible, and keep a cool head, and to send me a PM with the member’s name, IP Address, and the conversation that took place either over PM or in the Cbox. If it happened over a messaging system, it is not mine, or any other administrator’s problem. . . / creation board password: guardian /
- Whining, screaming, begging and more!
Will not
- Roll call! (Big-fat-ugly-bug-faced-baby-eating-O’brian?)
Activity is important to keeping a site healthy and can make it well advanced in years. Please be sure that you are actively posting roleplay posts on our boards at least two to three times a week! If you are going away for a while, please be sure to post in the absence board with how long you think you will be out. I will allow you to miss one activity check, but you are not allowed to miss two activity checks in two months unless I am pre-warned.
- Politics, religion, porn etc.
and anything else that can be taken offensively will not be tolerated here. If I see anything like this towards any of these things you will be warned by me personally and your discussion thread will be deleted immediately, and if it is brought up in the Cbox you will be warned another time. A third time you will be banned from the site for five days there by postponing all your plots, and roleplay threads. Should you come back and start it again you will not be warned, you will be banned, your account deleted, and characters dissolved. The same thing goes with posting nasty R-rated stuff in my boards, only you won’t have a third change, and you’ll be lucky if you even get a second one!
- Drama:
If the drama you cause scares my members to the point of not being able to help, that is too much. If the drama you cause scares my Administrative team to the point of the members, I will deal with it personally.
If the drama you cause brings hurt to anyone member, or multiple members, it will be addressed accordingly:
1. You will be asked to type up an apology note to each individual member, asking for their full forgiveness, and that you are truly sorry for what you said/did to them.
2. Then you will type up an apology note to the whole site, asking for their forgiveness in full.
3. OR if you have no intention of doing either, you can take your characters, delete your account, and never show face on the site again.
It’s your choice[/u]. I know it sounds harsh, and I know it sounds stupid, but I should hope that all of my members are willing to forgive you, and that you are willing to forgive yourself. This applies to rule 6 as well.
