- No god-modeling, power-playing, or perfect characters, Marry-Sue’s or Gary-Stus:
this means: Your character shall not be Mr. /Mrs. /Miss. “I-know-it-all, Always-right-every-time.” Never comes out of an attack (whither they planned it or did not) flawless, and unharmed. It is no good to anyone on the site to have a perfect character. You are not perfect, therefore, your character shouldn’t be.
It also means: That you cannot overpower another person’s character in a roleplay, that would be unfair to your roleplay partner(s) if you did that, and I don’t think they would like you very much if you did. So, keep it fair and don’t have Joe kill Bob without your without Bob’s roleplayer’s permission.
And: Since you are not perfect, and your character shouldn’t be perfect; their histories shouldn’t be either. Since I covered that in this means: You should know that Marry-sues and Gary-Stus are not allowed here either. There is no pretending that life is perfect, and your character shouldn’t either.
- Your character must be posted three times a week, at the most, and two times a week at the least. If you are posting only in OOC, then you need to quickly get your characters a plot and start roleplaying like you’ve been doing it for ages! If I see that you are not posting for Bob, Joe, and Billy, I will PM you telling you that you have not done so. I do not want any of my Administrators (myself included) to get a reply back saying that you can’t find anyone to roleplay with. I will check the plots board for your name, and I don’t see it, you have no excuse but to post there! The Cbox is not a place for plotting, but chatting.
- On The Silver Feather, you only need one account for all your characters. I do not want to go through the trouble of trying to keep track of who-is-who on the site by having multiple accounts, so only one account here.
You are responsible: For keeping all of your characters active! If I find that you have ten characters, and only three of them are active, I will ask you to find them a plot, put them up for adoption, or have them put in the archives for later use.
- No odd colored owls, weird tribe markings, extra wings, extra set of claws, etc. The owls on this site should be colored according to its species, please.
- Your owl cannot be an unhatched egg, and under a few weeks old without a mother, father, or both alive, or aunt, uncle, second cousin twice removed, that sort of thing. You may make an owl that is not yet a fledgling, but he or she must be at least a week away from being able to learn how to fly and must have someone there to teach said owl how to do so.
- This is strictly an owl site. No other animals will be allowed to roleplay here, that goes for: Mountain lions, other birds big and small, alligators, caribou, mice, snakes, trees, rocks, mushrooms, pots and pans, hobbits, elves, dwarves, humans, cars, cats, dogs, shrews, cardinals, bears, or anything of the like!
- If you would like to buy something for your character, you can suggest something in the store, or buy from what is there.
- No explicit mating: Violent mating is not permitted, nor will it ever be. We are not a rated R site, and we do not want mating to our main circus tent. Fade to black is your only option.
